Welcome to St. Philip's Welcome to our school website. I am immensely proud of St. Philip’s and its many achievements and I hope your visit to the school website will be both informative and enjoyable. Our aim at St. Philip’s Church of England Primary School is to create a happy and secure environment in which children can develop fully both socially and academically as well as spiritually and morally. Throughout the school we adopt an approach which is based upon Christian values with an emphasis on achievement recognising the need to prepare children to meet the challenges of a modern, highly technical world. At St Philip’s each child is special. Our mission is to provide the highest quality education possible for every child entrusted to our care by providing an environment in which children can develop their true potential. The school was inspected by OFSTED in April 2010 and judged to be “good” in all areas. We have received a number of significant awards most notably, Healthy School Status, Active Mark and ECO Silver Award. We enjoy and encourage excellent relationships with our parents, church and local community members and members of the wider community. Our school is linked to a primary school in London as well as a school in Madrid and all pupils have the opportunity to stay on the Isle of Man as part of their outdoor residential. The sense of partnership which these many relationships engender serves to broaden and enrich the children’s educational experiences.
