I joined the Governing Body as a Foundation Governor in 2015 just after I was licensed as the Minister of St. Philip’s Church. I am married with two children who are now in their thirties. Both of my children went to St. Philip’s School and both went on to gain degrees in Archaeology – proof of the excellent start they received at our school. This is my second term as a Governor having previously served in the late 1990s/early 2000s. It is really exciting to play a part in the life of this wonderful, caring School.
I am a part time clergyman and I also currently work as the Accountant of the Liverpool Branch of the RSPCA. I was formerly a senior auditor with a very large firm of Chartered Accountants.
My hobbies include golf, reading, doing jigsaws, watching football and spending time with my Granddaughter.
I believe that the Christian ethos of the School is very important and I am committed to ensuring that the partnership between School and Church continues to prosper so that our children grow and develop and are able to reach their full potential educationally and spiritually.
