British Values Concert
Royal Liverpool Philharmonic
Year 4 were blown away by their visit to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic where they had the chance to see the world famous orchestra live, and they even sang a song with them!
The children listened to music by composers such as Britten, Handel, Mendelssohn and Villa-Lobos, as well John Williams and Leonard Bernstein, and learnt all about the links between music and British values.
Museum of Liverpool
Year 4 enjoyed an amazing day at the Museum of Liverpool in support of their topic work on the Victorians. They experienced what life was like in Victorian Liverpool and they explored the different jobs children had to do in the late 1800s.
Plastics and the Oceans
As part of our project on plastics and the world's oceans, year 4 designed and made these amazing fish from plastic bottles, paper maché and lots of recycled items.
Year 4 had an amazing time at the Apple Store on the 5th and 6th of December.
They learnt how to make their own movie trailers using iMovie, and some great digital illustration techniques using Procreate.
Sign Language Assembly
Years 3 and 4 were very excited to share with their parents the sign language they have been learning across the Autumn term with help from Deaf Active. The children have loved these workshops, learning how to sign songs, to introduce themselves and share their likes and dislikes.
