All children are set tasks on a regular basis to do at home, in line with the school’s Homework Policy. The amount of homework increases as the children progress through the school.
We encourage help from parents in order to:-
Develop an effective partnership between school and home
Extend school learning through additional reading
Consolidate and reinforce skill and understanding particularly in literacy and numeracy
Parents are strongly encouraged to listen to their children read at home – and to read to their children – on a daily basis.
