Friends of St Philip’s Association (FOSPA)
St Philip’s Primary School is extremely fortunate to be supported by our PTFA, FOSPA
(Friends of St Philip’s Association). Our dedicated members have always given their
time generously to enrich school life, and we are deeply grateful for everything they
do.
We are delighted to share that FOSPA is currently being refreshed and relaunched.
Our newly appointed Pastoral Lead has taken on the role of Chair, and with this new
leadership we are excited to bring a wide range of community events back to the
school. This renewed energy marks an exciting chapter for FOSPA as we look to rebuild
momentum and strengthen our community connections.
Over the years, FOSPA has raised significant funds that have enabled us to continually
enhance our provision for all children—support that is especially valued during a time of
increasing financial pressures on schools. Past contributions include improvements to
our Early Years outdoor area, the development of our new school library and the
purchase of playground benches.
Going forward, FOSPA aims to reintroduce much-loved events such as school fairs,
discos and bingo evenings. These activities not only help raise money for key projects
but also play an important role in bringing families together and nurturing the warm,
inclusive ethos that defines St Philip’s.
We are always delighted to welcome new members. Whether you can offer time, skills
or support at events, your involvement will be truly appreciated. There is no
expectation to attend every meeting—every contribution makes a difference.
