St Philip's Church of England

Controlled Primary School

Our Christian Values

Our beautiful Mission Statement of "What God has Created, we nurture and celebrate in His name" drives all we do as a church school community.

At St Philip's CofE Primary School, Christian Values are at the very heart of life in our school. Both pupils and staff endeavour to live out these vales in our day to day life.

The four Christian Values which we hold dearest are: Justice, Creativity, Compassion and Perseverance. We believe that these values are those which are unique to us as a school.

In addition, each class has their own value which they learn about and live by.

We follow 'Roots and Shoots', Daily News and other sources for our daily worship. We also follow the Jumping Fish publication of Values for Life to create this wonderful RE scheme of themes to cover in collective worship. These are also followed by teachers in class and of course in our lovely Christian values themed collective worships and home school activity packs.
