North America Geography Project
Each child has been given a few starter activities to get going on this project. Also included is a knowledge organiser with the key facts that should be known before beginning the project. They should research the following headings:
- Famous Buildings;
- Rivers;
- Lakes;
- Mountains;
- Cities;
- The Coast;
- Contrasts in landscape e.g. plains and mountains;
- Contrasts in landscape e.g. deserts and forests.
The project should include written information, drawings, diagrams, maps and a model or similar creative interpretation of a key feature. It could be a building, an iconic feature or even a landscape. Please see below for further ideas and inspiration.
