I very recently became a foundation governor following an invitation from the parish council to apply. I regularly attend our church and it’s nice that there is a good relationship between the church and the school. My daughter attended St Philip’s as a child and now my grandson is a pupil here too. Day-to-day, I am a support worker for adults on the autistic spectrum, which is a role I love. My sole aim as a foundation governor is to offer any help I can to ensure our children achieve their full potential and to see that our school is recognised for the excellent education that it currently delivers.
