Today we are going to hear why Tom's Midnight Garden has become such an interesting and magical book for children.
When you have listened to him talking, read the extract which describes the midnight garden. Find everything you can that describes the garden - things in it, the position of different features, the surrounding fields and use the description to create a map of the garden. Label each feature neatly.
