Controlled Primary School

Breakfast Club and After School Child Care

Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is open to all pupils, Reception to Year 6, every morning from 7.45-8.45am. Children may attend on a full-time or part time basis depending upon parents child-care needs. Children need to be booked into Breakfast club by Friday or we will not be able to guarantee a place.  For a charge of £2.10 per day, payable a week in advance, children have a choice of cereals, crumpet, toast, yogurt and fruit and a hot or cold drink.

It is run by Mrs. McShane, who works within the school and knows all the children very well.

Following breakfast, children at the Breakfast Club may join in a number of activities including table-tennis, board games, construction, art and craft and homework / reading.

After School Child Care

St. Philip's CE Primary does not have a designated After-School Club for child care but we do work closely with local providers of child care and one of our parents is a registered child minder.

Parents enrol their children directly with the After-School Care providers.

Child minder details can be accessed through school.

Please see attached our completed leaflet re. wraparound care at English Martyrs which is open to St Philip’s students too.
